Welcome to Dance! Dance at Millennium offers students the opportunity to learn dance techniques, and a variety of skills. Our dance program helps to improve dancers' physical health, mental health and self-esteem. Our mission is to build students confidence, dance techniques, and etiquette needed to be successful in our high school dance programs. To accomplish our mission we will use a combination of jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip-hop and ballet, etc. For information about each of the courses offered, please see dance course descriptions.
Our extra curricular activies include Fusion Dance Team, Step Team, and Cheer. These meet after school and require an audition. Fusion Dance Team offers students the oppurtunity to compete and dance at higher levels and prepares them for high school dance teams. Fusion Dance Team audtions are held in the spring along with Millennium Falcon Dance Company auditions. Step and Cheer auditions are held in the 1st quarter of the school year.
