Millennium Middle School is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP).* Our school is pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

 

At Millennium Middle School, academic learning and creative expression come together. Our Fine Arts & Communication Magnet gives students opportunities to explore their interests through specialized electives and pursue academic challenges through advanced coursework.

Our whole-school candidacy initiative includes all students, with advanced coursework and specialized electives selected through the course selection process.

A Whole-School Approach

The MYP candidacy initiative involves the entire school and all students. Students select opportunities for advanced coursework and specialized electives through Millennium’s course selection process.

 

Information for Zoned Families

Students whose home address is zoned for Millennium Middle School do not need to submit a magnet application to attend Millennium. Advanced coursework and specialized electives are selected through the school’s course selection process.

 

High School IB Opportunities

Students who complete eighth grade at any of the four SCPS magnet middle schools receive priority for placement in the IB Diploma Program when they apply during the on-time application period.

The programme is available at Seminole High School and Winter Springs High School. Eligibility for the receiving school is determined by the student’s zoned high school.
